When we spoke to Matthew on Sunday evening, he was still very groggy and was in a lot of pain. We were all concerned that he had been seriously hurt since the tests hadn't come back yet. We asked him if he wanted to go swimming when he came home and he quietly responded, "no". I asked him why not and he very clearly but quietly said, "because it's Sunday". All of us in the room were astonished and thrilled because his response evidenced that he knew it was Sunday and that he had been taught that he shouldn't swim on the Sabbath day. We love Matthew and we're so happy that he was not seriously injured. Love, Dad
